Brian graduated from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse with a Bachelor of Science in Geography and a Minor in Earth Science. He adds years of experience when it comes to the Plant Health Care Department. His work experience includes: landscape maintenance, team and project management, being an 11B Combat Infantryman, working with the US Forest Service, US Fish and Wildlife Service, Bureau of Indian Affairs, National Park Service, and was an undergraduate research assistant studying heavy metal soil contamination in Albania. The strengths that Brian brings to the Oak Bros team are having a desire to satisfy the customer, a desire to see results, and building trust with Oak Bros clients. He holds integrity as one of his top values, which is seen in the decisions he makes either with the trees he’s treating or the clients he is servicing. Brian is a certified TCIA Plant Health Care Technician, a Certified Tree Safety Professional (CTSP), Tree Risk Assessment Qualified (TRAQ), as well as an ISA Certified Arborist respectively. Mr. Hill also retains his State of Illinois Commerical Applicators license. During Brian’s time away from work he enjoys spelunking (caving) in Glacier National Park. His favorite tree is a Cedar Elm and enjoys spending quality family time with his wife Bethany and his daughter Cedar. He also enjoys starting, controlling, and putting out forest fires (responsibly of course).
