Oak Bros Tree Care & Removal LLC was founded in 2009 by Joshua Guin and Nick Campbell, two best friends who turned a summer side hustle into a game-changing company. What started with a borrowed chainsaw and trailer while they were in college has grown into one of Central Illinois’ most respected tree care businesses. In 2013, Nick pursued a new career in medical devices, allowing Joshua to take over the buisness. Their friendship remains strong, and Oak Bros continues to thrive.
Today, Oak Bros, led by Joshua Guin, is known for revolutionizing tree care. Our remote-control tree removal truck, the first of its kind in McLean County and Illinois, is just one example of how we’ve set new industry standards. We’ve also supported the community with veterans grants and sustainability efforts through Oak Bros TreeCycle. Oak Bros offers safer, faster, and more efficient tree care, backed by cutting-edge technology, skilled staff, and exceptional customer service.
We work diligently to have competitive prices and satisfy our customers 100% of the time! So if you’re in the market to have your trees trimmed/pruned, a dead tree removed, or even that ugly stump in the front yard taken please call us! A qualified and trained staff member will quickly come to your property and provide a free estimate pertaining to the health and wellness of your trees. We thank you for visiting our website and we look forward to meeting with you in the near future.
Accreditation
In 2009, Oak Bros' essential purpose for establishing the tree service company that bears its name is to provide superior care for the landscape, trees and shrubs of homeowners and commercial and public landscape managers.

The Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) is the only industry organization that inspects and accredits tree service companies based on strict adherence to industry business ethics, consumer satisfaction, and technical competence.
Originally established as the National Arborist Association in 1938, our company founder is a member in good standing with the association now called Tree Care Industry Association. Accreditation by the TCIA requires meeting these standards:
-
A 63-point checklist for approval
-
On-site company audit
-
Up-to-date insurance
-
Company history/safety procedures
-
Tree care knowledge/experience
Since 2009, Oak Bros Tree Care has proudly carried on our long tradition of excellence as evidenced by our TCIA accreditation. You can call us knowing our company meets the most stringent criteria in industry-approved tree care practices, while providing the highest standards of ethical, reliable service.
