Community Impact & Sustainability
Community Cut Flower Garden:
Our Team at Oak Bros desires nothing less than being a leader in our industry in which fosters an environment that leaves a positive impact in our community. In 2023, Our team partnered with our neighbor Remington Seeds, to develop a sustainability project together. This destination located at 14658 E 925 North Rd, Bloomington, IL is open to our community to come and enjoy! At the design of succession planting, there will always be flowers in bloom throughout the growing season! We hope that this space serves as a place for our community to enjoy the beauty of flowers and the incredible smiles that flowers put on people's faces!
Veterans Tree Care Grant Program:
In 2022, Our President/CEO entered into a sweepstakes drawing at the Tree Care Industry Association Expo to have a chance at winning a 1/1 Vermeer/Saluting branches special edition AX17 brush chipper! Well what do you know, he won! This brush chipper was designed to spotlight and feature a non-profit called Saluting Branches. Their mission is to honor and assist veterans by providing tree care services at national cemeteries and other veteran properties. Being the winner of this incredible Vermeer/Saluting Branches edition brush chipper got us thinking about how we are blessed to be a blessing. Through this opportunity, in 2023 Oak Bros Tree Care & Removal LLC developed the Veterans Tree Care Grant Program which serves veterans locally in Mclean County, Illinois. Each year, applications are accepted and 12 veterans are randomly selected to receive up to 8 hours of tree care work at their resedential homes free of charge. The application can be found on our website and winners are drawn in September of each year.
