Happy New Year!
As we move into the new year, we want to thank you for trusting us with your tree care needs! We have
been hard at work to improve the experience provided to you. We are excited to update you on what
we have achieved over 2018 as we close the year out.
We are super excited to announce the launch of our Plant Health Care Department. The Plant Health
Care Department encompasses a new type of service geared toward promoting the health and
development of your trees. This department also offers 2 different memberships. The goal for the
development of the program is to prolong the life of your trees by minimizing, if not eliminating, disease
and insect intrusion. We are very excited to see how this influences the health of your trees and the
community’s environment.
Oak Bros has also added three ISA certified arborists to our team. This makes Oak Bros the only Tree
Company within Mclean County with more than one arborist on staff. This is important to us because we
know that your trees are being serviced by an arborist that cares about the health of your trees. This is a
voluntary process that our team members have sought out individually. Believe it or not tree care
providers can practice without being certified. With three arborists on staff Oak Bros is excited to offer
you the best service around.
There is one final goal that we have achieved in 2018 which we believe sets our service apart from most
Tree Companies. This is one of our proudest accomplishments. Drum roll Please…………….! Oak Bros
received The Tree Care Industry Association Accreditation. This allows you to trust your home to the
best! This Accreditation recognizes a company who has met specific qualifications: professionalism,
employee training, state and federal safety regulations, business ethics and safety regulations as well as
following ANSI A300 tree care standards when providing services. The Accreditation conveys value to
you because it is the only business practices and compliance program for tree care companies in
America. There are only 600 accredited tree care companies worldwide and Oak Bros is one of them!
Recently, Oak Bros was nominated and among the finalists by the Mclean County Chamber of
Commerce for “Micro Business of the Year.” The award will be announced at the Chamber Gala in
January! We are honored to be considered as an elite business working in Central Illinois.
