Jon joins the Oak Bros Team with a unique background in both athletics and agriculture. He spent 10 years directing the Bloomington Normal Area Fellowship of Christian Athletes organization and also coached both high school and college baseball during that time. Jon decided to switch careers to agriculture in 2015 and accepted a job with Midwest Bio-Systems who specializes in large scale composting systems. In the 3 years with MBS he was able to consult with and learn from compost and recycling operations throughout the country.
Jon joined the Oak Bros Team in April of 2020 and is now serving as the director of operations of the new TreeCycle branch of the company. He recently passed the ISA certification exam and we are glad to have another certified arborist on the Oak Bros team.
